The Print Center is the oldest venue for prints in the United States. The Center not only exhibits and sells prints of renowned artists but also nurtures and supports emerging artists. The brand identity was part of a re-brand effort to position the center as a place that welcomes young, new collectors. The focus on "the print" emphasizes the nature of the work at the Center. Since all prints create a negative and positive image, depicting the Center as a negative emphasizes the role that the Center plays in supporting new artists. The "THE" represents the creative spark as well as the emerging artist.
