In order to create a distinctive and memorable brand identity for this nationally recognized portrait painter, it was important to first clarify her vision; to provide a "timeless treasure—a legacy to be passed down to future generations."

The mark was designed as a model of an eye, using the artist's initials—with the "C" representing the eye and the "e" representing the pupil—the mark symbolizes the way in which a master painter "observes" and then "transforms" her vision into a portrait that "captures the inner character and soul of her subject in a moment in time."

This identity was adapted into business cards and is the basis for the artist's new website.
